Oppo R5 Gets Launched In India For Rs. 29,990 ; On Sale Starting January 1st

Oppo R5 Gets Launched In India For Rs. 29,990 ; On Sale Starting January 1st

Oppo is one of those quality, high-end Chinese smartphone manufacturers, though they prices tend to be rather high as well. Oppo even managed to attract some attention from consumers outside of Asia when the company announced their N1 flagship in September 2013. The build quality on that handset was great and the device itself was rather odd, sporting that rotating camera on the top of the device. Oppo has continued that tradition with their new Oppo N3 flagship which launched back in October. That is not the only device this Chinese OEM has launched back then though, Oppo R5 was launched as well, and at the time, that was the thinnest smartphone in the world, until Vivo dethroned it by releasing their X5 Max handset.
The Oppo R5 handset has just launched in India. “This phone has been developed with the end user in mind. We used cutting edge manufacturing techniques to create a phone that fits perfectly into the users’ hands, and that feels incredible,” said Tom Lu, CEO of Oppo India, and he added the following: “The frame has been forged nine times and then finished by hand to give a perfect sheen and feel. It has a quality that is not available anywhere else in the industry. The R5, like the rest of the R series delivers a truly stylish, exquisite and distinctive design and will continue to delight our customers with its innovative yet practical functions”.
Oppo R5 features a 5.2-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615, a 64-bit octa-core SoC which comes with an Adreno 405 GPU for graphics rendering. On the back of the device, you’ll find a 13-megapixel camera featuring Sony’s IMX214 sensor (f2.0 aperture) which is flanked by an LED flash. 5-megapixel snapper is located at the front side of the device and it offers an 80-degree wide angle lens. The device ships with 2000mAh battery and comes with Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed on this handset with Oppo’s ColorOS 2.0 on top of it. Oppo R5 measures 148.9 x 74.5 x 4.85mm while it weighs 155 grams.
The Oppo R5 will be available for pre-order in India starting January 1st for Rs. 29,990 ($470), for those of you who are interested in purchasing this handset.

Is Microsoft working on browser like chrome ? ?

Is Microsoft working on browser like chrome ? ?

While we had expected Microsoft to bring some big changes to IE in Windows 10, looks like the software giant is all set to introduce a new browser. Citing some anonymous sources, a report by ZDnet suggests that Microsoft is now building an all new browser dubbed Spartan. This means, IE 12 and Spartan could be different.
Spartan will reportedly be based on Microsoft’s Chakra JavaScript engine and Microsoft’s Trident rendering engine, which means it isn’t switching over to WebKit.
Going by the report, Windows 10 for desktop could ship with both IE11 and Spartan. However, Spartan is simply the codename and it isn’t clear what Microsoft would be calling it during release. The report further adds that IE 11 will be there for backward-compatibility and Spartan will be made available for both desktop and mobile versions of Windows 10.
Microsoft is likely to unveil Spartan on January 21 along with the next set of Windows 10 features. “But my sources also aren’t sure if Spartan will be functional enough for inclusion in the Windows 10 January Technical Preview and mobile preview builds that are expected to be available to testers in early 2015. It may not show up in the test builds until some point later, they say,” the report said.
NeoWin reveals, “Microsoft has made a rather large decision regarding Trident, the engine that powers the browser, and no, it’s not adopting Webkit. The team behind the engine has forked Trident into two components that will result in a new .DLL when the browser ships. Because of the fork, the modern component of the IE12 should be lightweight compared to what we have now in IE11, at least, that’s the hope because all of the legacy base has been removed.”
The report further adds that it’s because of this fork that rumours of  a new browser are doing rounds.
Several reports suggests that the new browser will look and feel like Chrome and Firefox. It will also support extensions. Lately, IE that is bundled with Windows 10, is facing stiff competition from alternatives like Chrome, Firefox and Apple’s Safari.

Why Did Sanjay Dutt Avoid Salman Khan’s Birthday Bash?

Why Did Sanjay Dutt Avoid Salman

 Khan’s Birthday Bash?

Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt’s friendship is one example of strong solidarity.
They have been known to be friends for a very long time now.
Then why did Sanjay Dutt not attend Salman’s birthday bash, where all his close friends and family were present at his Panvel farm house. (Inside Photos of Salman Khan’s Birthday Bash)
Sanjay Dutt is on his 14days furlough to celebrate Christmas and New Year with his family. While a day later from getting out of jail, government declared that they would conduct probe intoSanjay Dutt’s two weeks parole.
Due to this Sanjay Dutt and his family felt that his furlough may get cancelled. He has therefore decided to keep a complete low profile for two weeks.
Salman was very keen to have his very good friend Sanjay Dutt on his birthday at his Panvel farmhouse. But considering that his furlough is under supervision, he planned to stay back home with his family.
Apparently, Sanjay Dutt’s furlough fun has passed on the screening of his cameo movie PK this week.
We think that Sanjay Dutt does not want to do anything which would make him compromise with his time outside prison. He has his entire plan to be with his wife and children and return to the jail quietly.
There is no party for Sanjay Dutt.
