Jennifer Aniston doesn't find it 'painful' talking about Brad Pitt

Jennifer Aniston doesn't find it 'painful' talking about Brad Pitt

Jennifer Aniston doesn't find it hard talking about Brad Pitt.
The 45-year-old actress was married to Brad, 51, from 2000 to 2005, and Jennifer insists they maintain a healthy relationship despite their high-profile split and Brad's subsequent relationship with Angelina Jolie.
The former 'Friends' star said: ''I don't find it painful. I think it's a narrative that follows you because it's an interesting headline. It's more of a media-driven topic.''
In fact, Jennifer revealed that she and Brad still communicate with each other, although she confesses it's not something they do on a regular basis.
Jennifer - who has been engaged to screenwriter Justin Theroux since 2012 - told CBS: ''We've exchanged good wishes and all that sort of stuff to each other, but it's not a constant thing.''
Her remarks come shortly after Angelina Jolie said being married to Brad is an ''extraordinary feeling''.
The 39-year-old star, who tied the knot with the 'Fury' actor last year, said the ceremony was so special because it was shared with their children - Maddox, Zahara, Pax, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox.
She explained: ''As soon as it was all over, we all just changed clothes and hung out. It was just a very happy time. It wasn't this monumental change - we were just very happy and sure, and it's quite an extraordinary feeling to be so sure. It gives you peace.''

Recently, Salman Khan surprised his team 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' by taking them all to a village near Karjat, called Hatluni, and engaged them all in painting all the houses there. It is said that Salman noticed this village while he used to travel to ND Studios, going to and fro from his two film shootings (Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo) and felt to do something for the people at the village.

Frog gives birth to tadpoles as a first in the scientific world

Frog gives birth to tadpoles as a first in the scientific world

LONDON: For the first time ever, scientists have found a frog that gave birth to tadpoles.

Nearly all the world's 6,000 frog species lay eggs but new born tadpoles are a first in the scientific world.

An international team of researchers followed this unique species of fanged frogs from the Sulawesi Island in Indonesia for over a decade.

On Thursday, they announced the first ever evidence confirming external fertilisation in frogs - the female lays eggs during mating while the male releases sperm to fertilise them.

University of California, Berkeley, herpetologist Jim McGuire was slogging through the rain forests of Indonesia's Sulawesi Island one night this year when he grabbed what he thought was a male frog and found himself juggling not only a frog but also dozens of slippery, newborn tadpoles.

He had found what he was looking for: direct proof that the female of a new species of frog does what no other frog does.

It gives birth to live tadpoles instead of laying eggs.

A member of the Asian group of fanged frogs, the new species was discovered a few decades ago by Indonesian researcher Djoko Iskandar, McGuire's colleague, and was thought to give direct birth to tadpoles, though the frog's mating and an actual birth had never been observed before.

"Almost all frogs in the world have external fertilization where the male grips the female in amplexus and releases sperm as the eggs are released by the female," McGuire said. "But there are lots of weird modifications to this standard mode of mating. This new frog is one of only 10 or 12 species that has evolved internal fertilization, and of those, it is the only one that gives birth to tadpoles as opposed to froglets or laying fertilized eggs."

Frogs have evolved an amazing variety of reproductive methods, says McGuire.

Most male frogs fertilize eggs after the female lays them.

Fanged frogs - so-called because of two fang-like projections from the lower jaw that are used in fighting - may have evolved into as many as 25 species on Sulawesi.

The new species seems to prefer to give birth to tadpoles in small pools or seeps located away from streams, possibly to avoid the heftier fanged frogs hanging out around the stream. There is some evidence the males may also guard the tadpoles.

McGuire first encountered the newly described frog in 1998, the year he began studying the amazing diversity of reptiles and amphibians on Sulawesi, an Indonesian island east of Borneo and south of the Philippines.

Open letter to Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez for supporting Rajapaksa

Open letter to Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez for supporting Rajapaksa

Dear Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez,
It was probably not your intention to be in the middle of this embarrassing political controversy. Clearly, all you wanted to do was visit your old friend, Mahinda Rajapaksa's son Namal and distribute some spectacles in order to boost your charity. But, I must say, you two… the time you picked for this was just a little shortsighted.
It’s understandable that as you come from Mumbai (Jacqueline has been there for all of six years now…) you were ‘not aware of what was happening here.’ But by now you must know your friend Namal’s dad has been terribly busy trying to convince the people of Sri Lanka to re-elect him as president. And, well… things have not been going too well for him.

However, he must like you very, very much; because, just one week away from the elections, he and Namal and a whole lot of other people, (who should rightly be using every waking hour available to them to campaign for his re-election), actually spent a lot of time and money and resources helping you promote your charity. Bless them all.
Yes, in this light, as you said Salman, Namal’s dad is probably the ‘most humble person’ you have ever met. We, in our ignorance, assume that everyone else you know spends millions upon millions of other people’s money lining the streets of India with pictures of themselves.
Anyway, Jaqueline, we are sure that you would rather focus on other things “rather than this silly circus.” Apologies for inconveniencing you with our antics. But you are spot on. It is a bit of a circus here. Our media is rigged, our police is corrupt, our money is being robbed from us, our journalists are being threatened, our artistes are being beaten, our minorities are being silenced, our justice system is a joke, our constitution is an embarrassment and right now, there are lots and lots of people getting assaulted and intimidated for exercising their right to vote – and this, with the right sound track, could be material for a very funny circus scene.
Sorry that this irritates you. But you see, for us it’s a crisis. It’s been bleeding us to death – and its very important to us that it ends.
Finally, in all fairness to you, you may not have known the extent and depth of corruption that your friend’s family has unleashed upon this country, or how fed up, we, as citizens we are of them. But hopefully now you do. Now you do.
We anticipate that the next country you pick to promote your charity in, brings you less embarrassment and a little more respect.
Best Wishes

Why Did Sanjay Dutt Avoid Salman Khan’s Birthday Bash?

Why Did Sanjay Dutt Avoid Salman

 Khan’s Birthday Bash?

Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt’s friendship is one example of strong solidarity.
They have been known to be friends for a very long time now.
Then why did Sanjay Dutt not attend Salman’s birthday bash, where all his close friends and family were present at his Panvel farm house. (Inside Photos of Salman Khan’s Birthday Bash)
Sanjay Dutt is on his 14days furlough to celebrate Christmas and New Year with his family. While a day later from getting out of jail, government declared that they would conduct probe intoSanjay Dutt’s two weeks parole.
Due to this Sanjay Dutt and his family felt that his furlough may get cancelled. He has therefore decided to keep a complete low profile for two weeks.
Salman was very keen to have his very good friend Sanjay Dutt on his birthday at his Panvel farmhouse. But considering that his furlough is under supervision, he planned to stay back home with his family.
Apparently, Sanjay Dutt’s furlough fun has passed on the screening of his cameo movie PK this week.
We think that Sanjay Dutt does not want to do anything which would make him compromise with his time outside prison. He has his entire plan to be with his wife and children and return to the jail quietly.
There is no party for Sanjay Dutt.

Amitabh Bachchan enjoys editing process of 'Shamitabh'

Amitabh Bachchan enjoys editing process of 'Shamitabh'

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan says he enjoys being a part of the editing of his upcoming film Shamitabh and is impressed by the high technology used in the process.
The movie helmed by Paa director R Balki, also stars Raanjhanaa actor Dhanush and Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara in her debut.
"The day was spent with Shamitabh. Discussions on its promotions, its release plans and the involvement of others!," said the actor while praising the high technology and computerised execution, used in film editing now.
Bachchan, 72, recalled how actors were not allowed to enter the edit room in the old days of Bollywood, saying that it is normal today for actors to sit with the editors. "Actually now being in the company of edit is pretty normal. In those days we were never allowed even 100 meters from the edit room. If perchance you were to find yourself in the edit, you either paid a fine, fed the staff, and left in a hurry before you got beaten up.
"The editorial space was sacred. It was here that the film took shape. It was here that it was decided what your performance would be, because the editor has the capacity to completely destroy your performance, or conversely to make you look like a genius, by the flick of a finger!" he said.
